Dronfield under 10’s travelled to Dinnington for a rather blustery encounter! The team started brightly running against the wind in the first half. The two teams evenly matched played out a really good first half with Dronfield just shading it.

The team came out really strong in the second half scoring a couple of quick tries but a physical Dinnington side came back strong in the final 10 minutes, ending up victorious by 1 try.

Again the team showed some really good skills whilst working hard for each other. Dronfield’s attacking play was again its major strength. Some work to do in the new year in the tackle and the breakdown.

Also great debut for George today playing his first game of rugby after only 3 training sessions. He got stuck in straight away with a great tackle in his first 30 seconds!

Today’s player of the match went to Alex! Whilst one of the smallest on the pitch known for his pace and guile he showed great tackling skills not afraid to put in some great shots! Well done Alex
