Home Game - Matlock 11/2
A fantastic Sunday morning of Rugby with Dronfield U10’s taking on Matlock.

Whilst the coaches may have been mildly jaded after a late night at HQ the boys and Esme showed no sign of tiredness taking on a physical Matlock team.

Both teams started well scoring some good tries with Will (4) and Abel taking a share of the first 5 for Dronfield. It was Dronfield who stepped it up during the 2nd period making some great turnovers and running in some great tries, with Esme, Abel, Will and Tom scoring.

Not even the mud could stop the team during the final 3rd with Oliver, Alex and Esme all scoring great tries for the team.

A impressive performance from the team whose collective tackling and turnover work was fantastic.

The final score saw Dronfield victorious 12-9!

Esme had a fantastic game she showed strength and determination making tackles and turnovers all game, also scoring a great running try!

Charlie a.k.a Hughesy only playing his second game, really impressed as his confidence grew during the game, with a great run towards the end of the game and showing his speed down the wing.

Oliver playing only his third game with some superb fearless tackles, great passing and a try of his own!
