Another cracker of a contest between two very even teams today, but after a consistent attacking display, Dronfield came away with the spoils.
The contest was fierce around the breakdown, where both teams battled hard for quick ball and there were plenty of tackles from both sides.
The setpiece / free pass play was a great source of go forward for both sides, where Dronfield employed the 'screen play' to punch in the midfield, and Noah finding a hole on one occasion to create a fantastic looking linebreak.
Fronting up was a must; once again the goal line defensive effort was outstanding, repelling several attacks from a powerful Mosborough outfit.
The boys used the structure well on several occasions, creating space on the edge through hard midfield forward work. Our edges looked very threatening today- footwork and pace.

Moment of the match. Took a great line from a tip-on from Tommy, to create a linebreak, but ensured continuity through a great left handed pass to George to score with his pace. Fantastic team play. As always, Luther was busy and physical!

Fearless and hungry for physicality today. Some ferocious hits going in on big runners resulting in several turnovers and loss of momentum for our visitors. A big step up today. Very well played.

Came off the edge to look for work and didn't it pay off! Took plenty of short passes to hit gaps, and scored from a training park move, putting in a dummy to break the line.
