Welcome to Dronfield RFC under 8's home page
We are excited to welcome any new players (both boys and girls) to the club that are aged 7 or 8 and in Year 3 of primary school. We train on a Sunday at 10am at Dronfield Rugby Club, Gosforth Fields, Dronfield Woodhouse with the season officially starting in early September and running through until late April.
This is very much a fun-based approach, as children take their first steps playing rugby. The game is non-contact, tag rugby. Throughout the season, teams will meet on Sunday mornings at 10am to either train or play. Training is always at home – matches can be home or away. For these age groups we meet only once a week and welcome boys and girls to come and try the game.
